Andrew Miller
Managing Director
Andrew ( Dusty ) Miller is a native to Cape Town, as he grew up there before travelling to England where he played semi-professional cricket for 6 years.
After his cricketing years, he moved into the Service Industry, where he managed the launch of a chain of Italian Restaurants in the Chester and Manchester areas.
In 2001 he decided to use his service skills and passion for sports and established an Event Management Company, offering tailor-made Sports packages to events in the UK together with incentive and golfing packages across Europe, which he operated successfully for 10 years based in Chester.
With his longing to return to Cape Town, he took the leap and moved back there to establish DMC Sports Travel in September 2009. Together with Clare they have a wealth of experience and contacts in the Travel, Hospitality and Sports industry and can offer innovative Sporting/holidays/travel experiences within South Africa and worldwide
Clare Miller
Operations Manager
Clare has worked in the Hospitality Industry for over 25 years, 13 of which were with The Football Association in England. Prior to that, she spent 15 years working in the hotel industry.
During her time with the Football Association, she worked on the 2006 World Cup Bid. Her responsibilities then took the form of planning and managing all elements of the England Sponsors travel arrangements, which included sourcing suitable accommodation, restaurants and flights and creating involved and interesting itineraries.
The sponsor’s trips included the Japan and Germany World Cups and Portugal Euros, plus many overseas qualifying and friendly matches.
Clare then progressed to look after The England Senior Teams travel arrangements abroad, sourcing and booking their hotels and flights for every away match, including all travel arrangements for the World Cup hosted in South Africa.
Clare has travelled to some amazing places and gathered a wealth of knowledge and key contacts.
Together with Andrew they firmly believe they have the passion, experience, knowledge, and creativity to produce a trip you will never forget.
